Mother of Three

If somebody asked me who I am, my answer would be a mother of three. That is what defines me the most. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past eight years and this is what I love. When I left my job in the Irish travel trade in April 2017, I wasn’t sure whether I would enjoy being a stay-at-home mom or not. All I knew was that I wanted to give it my all and that no nine to five job could be more important to me.

And this hasn’t changed. I wouldn’t deny that being a mother is challenging, but it also is the most rewarding and natural occupation I can think of. I am still surprised sometimes that I ended up a mother of three. With our son and daughter our family seemed perfect. Until my husband John and I came to realise that our children are what matters most in our lives. And that we weren’t ready to leave the intense nurturing phase behind us just yet. Hence in summer 2023 our second daughter was born and fitted right into our family as if it had never been any other way.

Whilst as a mother of three I don’t always find the time to write, our family focussed life also gives me plenty of inspiration for my Blog. Enjoy browsing through my stories and feel free to leave a comment!
