Moving from Germany to Ireland was not a matter of weighing up pros and cons for me. I trusted my intuition and followed my gut. Ever since I had spent a six months internship in Dublin in 2008, I wanted to come back for good. On 1st January 2014 I made my dream come true and emigrated to Ireland. With a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a specialisation in Leisure and Tourism Management , I worked in Irish incoming tourism for many years. Even now that I am a stay-at-home mom, I stay connected with the tourism sector and enjoy writing content for travel companies and other small businesses. Together with my Irish husband and our three children, I live in the gorgeous County Wicklow, between the mountains and the Sea. I consider myself incredibly lucky and am grateful for the life I have in Ireland.
